Little School of Music – February 2026 Newsletter

Music, Friendship, and New Beginnings

February is a month that reminds us how important connection is. Connection to music, connection to learning, and connection to one another. At Little School of Music, we believe music education is about far more than learning notes on a page. It’s about building confidence, belonging, creativity, and meaningful experiences that shape young lives.

This month, we are especially excited to welcome new families, launch new community spaces, and continue creating musical experiences that reach beyond the classroom.

Welcome, New Music for Little Mozarts Families!

A warm welcome to our newest Music for Little Mozarts families! We are so excited to begin this musical adventure with you.

Over the coming months, students will sing, move, listen, imagine, play, and learn alongside beloved music friends like Mozart Mouse, Beethoven Bear, and the rest of our Little School of Music musical family.

These early musical experiences build far more than beginning piano skills, they help children develop confidence, listening, coordination, creativity, and a joyful relationship with learning.

We can’t wait to watch our newest little musicians grow.

Our New Music for Little Mozarts Skool Community Has Launched!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Music for Little Mozarts Skool Community, a digital extension of our classroom experience designed to keep families connected between weekly classes.

Inside our online musical community, students can:
🎵 Share videos of their playing
📸 Post photos and drawings
💬 Ask questions
🐻 Hear from our musical friends
🎉 Celebrate milestones and musical wins together

This is more than an online platform. It’s a place for children and families to learn, connect, and belong through music in a safe, joyful, and creative space.

We are so excited to see our community come to life.

Music Is Better Together

One of the most beautiful things about music is that it brings people together.

Whether students are sharing recital performances, posting drawings in Skool, cheering on classmates, or simply learning alongside friends in class, they are building something bigger than musical skill. They are building confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging.

At Little School of Music, community is part of the curriculum.

And that makes all the difference.

Why Music Is More Than Music – How It Shapes Identity, Belonging, and Confidence

One of my favorite things about teaching music is watching students realize they belong here.

Sometimes that happens through a song.
Sometimes through a friendship.
Sometimes through a recital performance.
Sometimes through a small moment of courage when they try something new.

Music gives children a place to grow, not just as musicians, but as people.

As we welcome new families and begin building our online community, my hope is that every child feels encouraged, supported, and excited to be part of something meaningful.

Thank you for being part of our musical family.

With love and gratitude,
