“Inspire the desire to inspire…
The Carnegie Hall Royal Conservatory Achievement Program provides a recognized national standard of musical success through an effectively sequenced course of study from beginner to advanced levels. The Achievement Program inspires excellence through individual student assessments and allows students to celebrate accomplishment and track their progress with others across the country. It also supports teachers with high-quality and innovative resources. All students deserve the opportunity to celebrate their musical achievements nationally. Join the growing community of teachers, students, and families who are discovering the benefits of The Achievement Program as it enriches their lives!” – The Achievement Program
The Achievement Program is a very well conceived, structured, sequential program for music students to be evaluated and recognized in all around musicianship including: repertoire, technique, musicianship, and music literacy. The program consists of 10 levels, plus 2 preparatory levels, and is designed for students of all ages beginners through very advanced. This warm, welcoming experience provides students with an opportunity to perform for an evaluator for constructive comments on their musical skills. Certificates are awarded to students in recognition of their progress and completion of each level. There are 2 evaluations, one for performance and ear training, and the other for music theory and history. Both evaluations are offered two times per year in Spring and Fall.
Little School of Music is excited to announce that we will be the Evaluation Center for The Achievement Program in Santa Clarita Valley! This is a great honor and we are looking forward to providing a comfortable place for students, teachers, parents, and evaluators! Our teachers are already familiar with the program, its benefits, and how to successfully prepare students for their evaluation and for a life-long enjoyment of music.
Little School of Music also carries books, materials, and repertoire for The Achievement Program and from the major music publishers: Frederick Harris Publishing, Alfred Music, Hal Leonard, Faber and Faber, KJOS, to name a few.
