Music As Expression
Piano · Student Since 2017

Evita Rivera studied piano at Little School of Music with her teacher, Brianna Marra. Her story reflects the beauty of expression, not only through music, but through creativity, individuality, fashion, art, and the quiet way she moves through the world. Through piano lessons, recitals, and the meaningful connection she shared with her mom through music, Evita’s journey reminds us that music can be a personal place to create, reflect, and simply be.
Not every musical journey is loud. Some unfold quietly, gently, and in deeply personal ways. That is Evita Rivera.
Evita began coming to Little School of Music when she was in third grade, bringing with her a quiet nature, a creative spirit, and a unique way of seeing the world. Over the years, she studied piano with Brianna Marra, developing music as a personal outlet and a meaningful form of expression.
For Evita, music has never needed to be about being the most serious, the most competitive, or the most visible. Instead, it has been something more personal, a way to connect, reflect, create, and simply be.
That is one of the most beautiful things about music. It meets each person exactly where they are. Evita’s creativity extends far beyond the piano. She has a passion for fashion and art, and her style reflects the depth and individuality of who she is. There is a quiet edge to Evita, something sweet, thoughtful, and mysterious. That makes her presence memorable in a way that doesn’t need to be explained.
She expresses herself not only through music, but through the way she moves through the world.
One especially meaningful part of Evita’s LSM story is that music became something she shared with her mom, Monika. While they each took their own separate piano lessons with Brianna, their shared love of music created a special connection between them. It became something they could enjoy side by side, each on their own path, but connected through the same experience.
Over the years, Evita has performed in recitals and continued to grow through music at her own pace. Her journey reminds us that music education does not have to look the same for every student. Sometimes music becomes a career path. Sometimes it becomes a stage. Sometimes it becomes a lifelong passion. And sometimes, it becomes a quiet place to land.
Her mother shares:
“Evita has been coming to Little School of Music since she was in third grade. She loves music and has a passion for fashion and art. Evita graduated from Academy of the Canyons and is pursuing her education at College of the Canyons.”
For Miss Mindy, Evita’s story is a reminder that music has many purposes.
“Evita has always had a unique and creative spirit. She doesn’t need to be the loudest person in the room to make an impression. There is something thoughtful and expressive about her, and I’ve loved seeing music become one of the ways she connects with herself, with her creativity, and with her mom.
Not every student’s journey is about chasing the biggest stage. Sometimes the most meaningful musical experiences are the quiet ones, the ones that help us understand ourselves a little better.”
As Evita begins her next chapter at College of the Canyons, she carries with her creativity, individuality, and a love for the arts that will continue to shape her path.
Congratulations, Evita.
Thank you for reminding us that music doesn’t have to be loud to be meaningful.
May you continue creating, expressing, and discovering beauty in your own unique way. ♥️
