Big Stages, Big Hearts, and a Community That Shows Up
November was a powerful reminder of what music education is truly about: confidence, connection, and community. From world-famous stages to meaningful outreach experiences, our students showed up with courage, professionalism, and heart.
Events & School News
Whisky A Go Go – An Unforgettable Night
On November 21st, our rock bands Jukebox Kids, Crazy Crew, and Saturn took the stage at the legendary Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, and absolutely rocked it.
This was more than a performance. It was a milestone.
Students experienced a real-world professional venue, learned stage etiquette, managed nerves, and performed with confidence in front of an enthusiastic crowd. Parents were the BEST roadies ever, hauling gear, cheering loudly, and turning the night into an unforgettable celebration of teamwork and dedication.
We are so proud of these young musicians for rising to the moment and soaking in every second.

Music for Little Mozarts Field Trip – Walt Disney Concert Hall
On November 22nd, Miss Mindy led a special field trip with Music for Little Mozarts families to the Walt Disney Concert Hall for a Los Angeles Philharmonic Symphonies for Youth concert:
“Melody & Pitch: An Introduction to the Woodwind Family”
Students explored the stunning concert hall, participated in pre-concert activities, and experienced live orchestral music in one of the world’s most beautiful performance spaces. It was a magical and inspiring introduction to listening, instruments, and musical storytelling.
Community Outreach – Sunrise Senior Living
LSM students shared a beautiful acoustic performance at Sunrise Senior Living Center, bringing music to members of the retired community.
This outreach experience teaches students something just as important as technique: how music can give back. Sharing music across generations creates meaningful connections and reminds students that their music has the power to uplift others.

A Note from Miss Mindy
November reminded me just how much courage our students carry.
Whether stepping onto a legendary rock stage, sitting in a world-class concert hall, or sharing music with seniors in our community, these experiences shape students in ways that last far beyond the notes on the page.
Thank you to our families for your unwavering support, showing up, cheering loudly, and trusting the journey. Music education is a partnership, and moments like these are the result of working together.
With gratitude,
Miss Mindy ♥️
