Celebrating Progress, Performance, and the Power of Showing Up
March was filled with energy, growth, and meaningful milestones for our students. From live band performances to our Spring Recital, this month reminded us that music education is built through consistency, courage, and community, one performance and one lesson at a time.

Events & School News
Bands Live at Pocock Brewing Company
In early March, our rock bands took the stage at Pocock Brewing Company for an exciting live performance featuring Jukebox Kids, Crazy Crew, Saturn, and a very special surprise appearance by Flashback!
Flashback’s return was particularly memorable. The students independently organized rehearsals, coordinated schedules, and surprised director Frank Browne with a polished and heartfelt performance. It was a powerful example of student leadership, initiative, and lifelong musical connection.
Parents played an essential role as well, helping with gear, cheering loudly, and creating a supportive atmosphere that made the night unforgettable. These real-world performance experiences build confidence, accountability, and teamwork in ways that rehearsals alone never could.

Spring Recital: A Celebration of Growth
Our Spring Recital was a beautiful showcase of dedication and progress. Students walked the red carpet and shared music they worked hard to prepare, each performance representing months of learning behind the scenes.
Congratulations to all 33 students who were promoted to their next Little School of Music Achievement Level!
Every promotion reflects growth not just in musical skill, but in focus, perseverance, and confidence.
Looking Ahead: WorldStrides Heritage Festival
As March came to a close, excitement was building for Jukebox Kids, who prepared to represent Little School of Music at the WorldStrides Heritage Festival later this month.
We wish them the very best as they take their music beyond the studio and onto a national stage, an opportunity that highlights the power of teamwork, preparation, and shared goals.

This article explores how meaningful progress in music comes from consistent action, not rushing, comparison, or shortcuts. It’s a reminder that showing up, staying focused, and trusting the process leads to lasting growth.

March is always a powerful reminder that progress isn’t something that happens overnight. It’s something we build through repetition, patience, and shared experiences.
Whether students were performing at a brewery, preparing for a recital, or simply continuing to show up to lessons each week, every step mattered. Music education is not about perfection; it’s about learning how to prepare, how to recover, and how to grow through each experience.
I’m so proud of our students for their bravery, our teachers for their dedication, and our families for the constant support you provide behind the scenes. These moments, big and small, are shaping confident, capable musicians and humans.
With gratitude,
